Please call ahead to check
road conditions and store hours during inclement weather.
Generally it is a
good idea to call the store before you make a trip here if there has been
snow in the area. Most of the time if you see on the news
that the schools in
Ste. Genevieve are closed for the day then we will be, too. However, several
days after a heavy snow the schools might be closed
when the main highways are
clear but the country roads are still in bad condition, making it
impossible for the buses to run their routes. In a case
like that we will be
open. Since road conditions can be very different here from the
area you are coming from I highly recommend calling if you
are planning
a visit. We are very good about being open during the hours that we
have set. Throughout the year you can count on us being
open when we say we are
going to be open. Snow and/or ice can very much affect our hours, though, so
please call ahead.
