Missouri's most historic town hosts its annual celebration on August 9th and 10th with   arts, crafts, entertainment and exhibits. As the first settlement on the west bank of the Mississippi, Ste. Genevieve has nurtured many skilled craftsmen and artists during its 250-year history. Contemporary artists and crafters find the town a perfect setting for this very special event. Admission is free; food, home tours, and shuttle service are available for a small fee. Ste. Genevieve is a convenient drive 1 hour south of St. Louis and 1 hour north of Cape Girardeau. Maps of the festival area are available at the Great River Road Interpretative Center located on the corner of Main & Market Streets.

Jour de Fete is known for its large number of arts and crafts booths
Musical stages can be found throughout the festival area
